STRICKLAND BROTHERS EXPANDS IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA
October 22, 2020: Strickland Brothers 10 Minute Oil Change announces another franchise owner in the state of Florida, Damien Munnings. Damien is set to open one Strickland Brothers service center in the Tampa Bay area. He and his wife, Peggy, have lived in Tampa for nearly 20 years. Both Peggy and Damien are proud alumni of the University of South Florida; Go Bulls! They have spent the last 10 years of their careers focused on helping their community. Peggy is in social services assisting cancer patients, and Damien is in the recruiting industry where he focuses on helping people build careers and assist companies with finding great talent. They are excited to grow the Strickland Brothers brand in the Tampa market.
Damien and Peggy expressed that their desire to become entrepreneurs began because “We are driven with the need to succeed and control our own destiny. Establishing our own business provides that opportunity for our family while making a greater impact within our local community.” Strickland Brothers caught their attention due to ”The franchise model was well thought out, they made a complex model simple for franchisees, and SB’s view on business management aligns with how we want to manage our business.“ And what set Strickland Brothers apart from other franchise opportunities was “the culture of the management team and the partnership that Justin, the CEO of SB, wants with the Franchisees. The model / system is proven, integrates technology, and is process driven. The focus on relationships; not only between SB and Franchisees, but SB/Franchisees and the customer, and the return on investment met our expectations.”
Justin Strickland adds “Damien’s visit to Winston Salem to visit us was a confirmation in what we already believed about him and his character. Damien aligns with our mission and what we want to accomplish through Strickland Brothers. We feel like Damien did a lot of homework on Strickland Brothers, our industry and we appreciate that. We want our partners to come in and make an educated decision on the partnership. We are thankful for Damien and Peggy.”
