Strickland Brothers Opens First Prototype Store

Strickland Brothers celebrated the grand opening of their first prototype store in Winston Salem, NC on October 2, 2020 with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The ceremony took place at 11:30 am with the Mayor of Winston Salem and the President of the Chamber of Commerce among those in attendance. This new store is located at 6061 University Parkway in Winston Salem, NC and is offering $24.99 conventional oil changes for a limited time.

Justin Strickland, CEO and founder of Strickland Brothers, states, “This is a big time for our organization. We have had a number of quick lube facilities open over the years. Throughout our experiences we have found more ways to be innovative in our efficiency for our customers and simplicity for our owners and employees. The project turned out to be beautiful but we are very pleased with the simplicity of the concept. From an operations standpoint, our Chief Operations officer, Mark Agan, did a tremendous job of laying the service facility out to maximize effectiveness. From a design and marketing standpoint, Our Marketing Director, Ashley Maynard, did an unmatched job with the framework, color pads and signage layouts/designs. This has been a lengthy project. We are grateful to see it all materialize and scale across the United States.

This grand opening comes just after the acquisition of 8 stores across 5 states within 2 months:  one location in North Carolina (Havelock), one location in Virginia (Chester), one location in Kentucky (Louisville), two locations in Indiana (Sellersburg and Floyds Knobs), and three locations in Tennessee (Tullahoma, Shelbyville and Lawrenceburg). This brings Strickland Brothers to a total of 21 corporately owned locations.

Strickland Brothers is set to open another ground-up location in Graham, NC in approximately 8 weeks.
