Strickland Brothers 10 Minute Oil Change announces their newest franchise owners, husband and wife, James and Mara Broderick. James and Mara are set to open three Strickland Brothers service centers in the Cleveland, Ohio area.
In their free time James and Mara enjoy being outdoors with their family, making memories and having fun together. However, James and Mara are also hard workers that desire to be entrepreneurs. When asked what triggered them to want to become entrepreneurs, they explained that “the opportunity to work for ourselves, build something from infancy and have a hand in every aspect of the business excites us. Strickland Brothers is a testament to that. What started as one store has now become a franchise with a goal of becoming nationally recognized. We get to play a role in making Strickland Brothers a national brand.”
When they started down their journey to entrepreneurship, James and Mara researched many small business opportunities but felt after their initial conversations with the SB Team, the Strickland Brothers path “just felt right.” They stated, “Strickland Brothers shines a fresh perspective on the auto industry while staying true to offering quality and superior service. We fell in love with Cleveland and want to become a fixture in the community and give back to Northeast Ohio. Our Strickland Brothers business provides the opportunity to do that.” The pair has enjoyed the transparency and passion the team has shown throughout the process, as well as the accessibility of each team member when questions arise. “We don’t view this as a franchisor/franchisee relationship; we are true partners.”
